LiFeBATT along with Kingston University set a new high speed record on the Rockingham

Oval circuit with The Ion Horse. Despite the poor weather conditions on the first day,

professional rider George Spence still averaged 94Mph on a race track not usually renowned for the use of bikes but it was on the second day that he set a fantastic average lap speed of 106Mph and we’re proud to have set the record for the fastest electric bike on the circuit so far.

Kingston University had spent seven months producing the 'Ion Horse' electric motorcycle and this year, LiFeBATT supplied our CANBIS Battery Management System, fully integrated into the vehicle as part of our on-going sponsorship of Kingston University’s green vehicle development program.
